The importance of studying Terminology in the modern world is undeniable, since Terminology is, on the one hand, a link between various fields of knowledge, and on the other hand, it contributes to a clear distinction between concepts. In connection with the rapid scientific and technological progress, it seems necessary to pay due attention to the terminological apparatus of various sciences. Terminology does not stand still, it is constantly evolving, expanding its boundaries. It is studied by both linguists and terminologists - representatives of the relevant fields of science and technology. The terminology of various sciences is characterized by some common features. At the same time, each scientific terminology related to a particular field of knowledge has its own special features. Legal terminology is of particular interest in this regard; its study allows us to reveal the specifics of this terminological system. Terminological systems are very diverse and far from homogeneous in the nature of the concepts denoted in them. The study of each particular industry terminology system gives rise to new questions. Thus, when studying terminological systems related to those areas of knowledge where it is necessary to designate such categories of concepts as actions and processes, the question arises about the possibility of using verbal lexemes and phrases in the terminological function. Legal terminology is one of the most important areas of Linguistics which requires from researchers and linguists a lot of attempt to discover linguistic features of legal words. The relevance of the topic of the undertaken research is determined by the fact that legal terminology is rightfully considered one of the most significant industry term systems. It should be noted that the terminology of law is widely used not only in the professional environment, but also in other areas of language communication, so there is a great demand for learning the language of law for special purposes. Legal terminology is a unique object of study, as it is characterized by a wide variety of areas of application compared to other terminological systems. In this article, I collect and study some legal terms from the useful sources and analyze from the linguistic point of view.

The article discusses borrowings from other languages, methods of their assimilation, the creation of new words, changes in the semantics of words, the relationship between the literary language and dialects, i.e. literary dialectisms in the terminology of distance education. The word about changes in terminology occurs due to lexical exchange, assimilation of words caused by social, economic, political, cultural ties with related and unrelated peoples.

The article analyzes the views of the famous French philosopher Henri Bergson on vitality and intuitionism. Bergson contrasted his theory of creative evolution with Darwin's theory of evolution in a rationalistic spirit. He reveals that Darwin's views were mechanistic in nature. It also shows the difference between intellect and intuition. Since natural processes are characterized by vitality, they prove to be creative in nature.

Developing students' critical thinking in literature lessons is one of the most pressing issues of today's literary education. On the other hand, in the analysis of a certain literary work, it is necessary to interpret correctly the concept of critical thinking, which forms the ability of the student to have a personal opinion and attitude, and to understand that it is far from expressing only a negative attitude. This article investigates the issue in depth and discusses the application, tasks and results of one of the methods that stimulate the reader's critical thinking within literature classes.

This pilot study delves into the linguistic landscape of Colombia, with a specific focus on Criollo Sanandresano, a unique Creole language spoken in the San Andrés Archipelago. As a region marked by linguistic diversity and language contact, Colombia offers a compelling context for exploring the dynamics of Creole languages. Through an interdisciplinary approach that combines linguistic analysis, sociolinguistic surveys, and historical research, this study unravels the origins, development, and current state of Criollo Sanandresano. By investigating the impact of language contact and cultural influences, it provides valuable insights into the complex tapestry of language in the Colombian Caribbean.

This article is devoted to comparative analysis of metaphor in English and Uzbek languages, problems of translating metaphors, especially, comparative study of metaphor in English and Uzbek, and metaphors in the novel “A farewell to Arms” by E. Hemingway and their translations from English into Uzbek. The article emphasizes the peculiarities of the metaphors both in English and the Uzbek languages and also, the analysis of various aspects of their translation in Uzbek and the specific features of metaphors used E. Hemingway "A Farewell to Arms". It concludes that comparative analysis of Metaphor in English and Uzbek is significant from practical point of view. Training students in the context of professional and specific aspects of the foreign languages, and also studying its genres helps them in the future to establish correct intercultural communication, to be well informed about linguistics, obviously helps to improve literacy skills, to become among colleagues authoritative, stimulates professional growth in the professional environment.

This article examines affixal units expressing the national character of “child love” in the Uzbek language. Mostly diminutive affixes were studied. The characteristic features of affixal pleonasm are determined by reduplicating imitative suffixes. The collaboration of diminutive-affixes in expressing national character is analysed.

The purpose of the study was development of optimal delivery tactics for women with a uterine scar. 103 pregnant women and the outcomes of their births were studied. Research and scientific work were carried out for 2020-2022. on the basis of the obstetric department of the multidisciplinary clinic of SamSMU. The optimal delivery tactics directly depend on the presence of somatic pathology, the timing of pregnancy, clinical signs of correction of the postoperative scar, ultrasound data, the level of type XXVI collagen and rehabilitation measures after cesarean section.

The study of the history of the formation of lexical-semantic means of language in general and terminological vocabulary in particular is of great scientific, theoretical, and practical importance. In connection with the intensive development of all areas of modern knowledge, the problem of a comprehensive study of nominative terminological systems is becoming increasingly urgent.

The problem of terms as a special lexical-semantic category of words, as well as the relationship of terminological vocabulary with the rest of the vocabulary of the literary language, has not yet been sufficiently studied. In the study of terms, two main approaches are outlined - normative and descriptive. The normative approach, within the framework of which the basic requirements for the term were formulated (the author of the first of which was D.S. Lotte - unambiguity, accuracy, brevity, absence of synonyms, etc.) made it possible to create state, industry and international standards for terms and definitions, collections of recommended terms and terminological dictionaries.

This article deals with the concept of the literary chronotope and its poetic features occurring  in modern novels.  The following article analyses topical problems of modern literary criticism, the essence, theoretical foundations of the forms of the chronotope, the influence and connection of genre evolution on the storyline, the architecture of a work of art, the basis for creating a plot, drawing up a composition based on the author’s creative intent and the ideological content of a work of art and the perception of reality in the work as a literary process.

This study delves into the impact of etymological instruction on the receptive and productive vocabulary learning of adult English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in Turkey. Etymology, the study of word origins and historical development, has often been overlooked in language instruction, particularly in EFL contexts. This research investigates whether incorporating etymological insights into vocabulary instruction can enhance adult learners' ability to both understand and use English vocabulary. A mixed-methods approach, including pre-and post-tests, surveys, and qualitative interviews, was employed to evaluate the effectiveness of etymological instruction. The findings reveal significant improvements in both receptive and productive vocabulary skills, shedding light on the pedagogical potential of etymology in EFL contexts.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate whether the analytic reporting approach would have a greater impact on improving English language learners' verbal skills. The two groups, the analytic group, and the holistic group, were compared in terms of the test results from the analytic scoring approach and holistic scoring approach respectively. Furthermore, the study revealed that students were more than willing to adopt an analytical scoring method for teaching and assessment of speaking skills.

This аrticle exаmines the implementаtion problems of cognitive view of mediа-text positions in the digitаl context, the meаns of strаtegies аnd scenаrios for presenting аnd аssessing informаtion, аnd imаge creаtion. The literаl content of а mediа text often does not consist of а set of detаch meаnings of such а stаtement's elements. Such а meаnings' аssessments cаn leаd to аmbiguity аnd culturаl misunderstаndings of the mediа content. Аll this mаkes it essentiаl to creаte effective lаnguаge which is used in mediа field. This study аims to estаblish the effectiveness of the experimentаl survey “Creаting effective lаnguаge for mediа in sociаl sites” using а cognitive аpproаch to the presentаtion of complex tаsk; to show the relevаnce of cognitive theories thаt form а positive аttitude to the study of linguistic theory аnd its use in the digitаl mediа environment.
