This pilot study explores the linguistic dynamics of Criollo Sanandresano, a variety of the Creole language spoken in the San Andrés Archipelago, Colombia. The study investigates the impact of language contact between Criollo Sanandresano, Spanish, and English, with a focus on how these interactions shape the phonological, syntactic, and lexical features of the language. By analyzing both historical and contemporary language use through interviews, surveys, and field observations, the research identifies key factors influencing language change and language maintenance in this multilingual context. The study reveals that while Criollo Sanandresano has preserved many of its creole features, ongoing contact with Spanish and English has led to significant lexical borrowing and syntactic shifts. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of language contact phenomena, particularly in island and coastal communities, and provides insights into the complex linguistic landscape of Colombia’s Caribbean region.

This article studies the linguistic and cultural features of political and social texts in the Uzbek and English languages during the translation process. The importance of correctly conveying national cultural norms, language combinations and cultural connotations in the translation of political and social texts is emphasized. The article analyzes linguistic and cultural differences on the example of newspaper texts in Uzbek and English, and examines the mechanisms for translators to take these aspects into account. It also highlights the problems of correctly reflecting pragmatic meaning and maintaining cultural harmony in the translation process. The results of the study include practical recommendations for improving translation practice.

This article analyzes the role and importance of the communication component of a speech therapist with children with developmental disabilities in pedagogical activity. In the field of speech therapy, establishing effective communication with children with developmental disabilities is of great importance in supporting their speech and language development. The components of a speech therapist's communication - verbal and non-verbal methods, emotional support and individual approaches - are the main tools in the development of children's speech and social skills. In pedagogical activity, especially the correct and effective organization of communication leads to noticeable positive results in the development of the child. This work provides detailed information about the role of a speech therapist in communication, his role in speech development and approaches to children.

The article examines the history of dialogue in literary studies and its theoretical interpretations. On the example of world and Uzbek literary studies, theoretical views on the issues of dialogue and its artistic function, its significance in poetic speech are summarized. Scientific conclusions are drawn about the function and essence of artistic dialogue.
