This article highlights the importance, goals and objectives of promoting national musical culture in the higher education system. Methods of aesthetic and cultural education of students by integrating national musical culture into the educational process are analyzed. Also, effective approaches to promoting national musical values using interactive and innovative pedagogical technologies are considered. Best practices and modern methods for developing national musical culture and instilling it in students' minds are presented on an analytical basis. The article contains proposals and recommendations aimed at strengthening national musical culture in the higher education system.
