This article examines the role of youth reading habits in the development of the lifelong learning system from a socio-pedagogical perspective. The aim of the study is to identify the relationship between youth reading habits and lifelong learning, as well as to substantiate the pedagogical and social mechanisms for fostering a sustainable reading culture. The research employed methods of analysis, comparative analysis, synthesis, and the socio-pedagogical approach. The findings demonstrate that reading culture is a crucial factor in enhancing young people's intellectual potential, critical and creative thinking, moral and ethical development, and lifelong learning competencies. Furthermore, the study proposes scientific and practical recommendations for promoting youth reading through strengthened collaboration among families, educational institutions, and other social institutions, thereby improving the effectiveness of lifelong learning. The findings may serve as a methodological foundation for improving pedagogical practices aimed at developing reading culture within the lifelong learning system.
