Plagiarism Policy

Oscar Publishing Services is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. Plagiarism in any form is strictly prohibited in all journals published under Oscar Publishing Services.

Definition of Plagiarism

Plagiarism is the act of presenting another person’s work, ideas, data, or words as one’s own without proper attribution. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Copying text, figures, or data from previously published works without appropriate citation.

  • Paraphrasing substantial portions of another’s work without acknowledgment.

  • Submitting work that has been published elsewhere or is under consideration by another journal.

  • Failing to credit collaborators, co-authors, or sources of funding.

Plagiarism Screening

  • All manuscripts submitted to Oscar Publishing Services journals are screened for plagiarism using reliable detection software and manual checks by the editorial team.

  • Manuscripts found to contain significant plagiarism will be rejected immediately.

  • If plagiarism is detected after publication, appropriate actions such as correction or retraction will be taken, and all parties involved will be notified.

Author Responsibilities

  • Authors must ensure that their work is original and appropriately references the work of others.

  • Direct quotations must be clearly indicated, and all sources must be cited according to the journal’s guidelines.

  • Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use copyrighted material when necessary.

Consequences of Plagiarism

  • Manuscripts with detected plagiarism will be rejected or retracted, depending on the stage of publication.

  • Authors found to have committed plagiarism may be banned from future submissions to any Oscar Publishing Services journal.

  • Institutions, funding agencies, and other relevant authorities may be notified in cases of severe misconduct.

Policy on Duplicate and Redundant Publication

  • Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal simultaneously or publishing substantially similar content in multiple journals is considered unethical and is not permitted.

Reporting Plagiarism

  • Suspected cases of plagiarism can be reported to the editorial office of the relevant journal.

  • All reports will be thoroughly investigated, and necessary actions will be taken according to Oscar Publishing Services’ ethical guidelines.
