This article examines the pedagogical and psychological characteristics of developing students’ communicative competence in foreign language teaching based on web technologies. It analyzes the theoretical foundations of communicative competence, explores the pedagogical potential of web-based tools, and discusses psychological factors such as motivation, cognitive engagement, and learner anxiety.
