This article analyzes the impact of the informatization process on the education system, the formation of national and spiritual values of the younger generation in the digital environment, as well as pedagogical mechanisms for modernizing the national education system. The possibilities and risks associated with the widespread use of information and communication technologies in the educational process are considered, the role of information culture, media relations, and the formation of digital competencies in the development of national education is highlighted.
