Abstract

The article examines the variable emotional and psychophysiological states of the heart within the framework of neo-psychological processes, emphasizing their role in mental adaptation and clinical practice. It explores how fluctuations in affective and cognitive activity influence cardiovascular responses, autonomic regulation, and overall psychosomatic balance. Neo-psychology interprets the “heart” not merely as a physiological organ but as a multidimensional center of emotional intelligence, empathy, and self-awareness. The study analyzes the neuropsychological correlation between emotional variability and cardiovascular function, identifying the mechanisms through which stress, mindfulness, and moral cognition interact to maintain psychophysiological stability. The findings highlight that understanding the dynamic states of the heart contributes to more holistic approaches in psychotherapy, cardiology, and psychosomatic medicine, reinforcing the link between emotional health and clinical outcomes.
