This article is dedicated to the актуаль problems of developing students' communicative competence in the context of modern education. It reveals the essence, components, and role of communicative competence in contemporary education. The article analyzes pedagogical strategies and practical approaches aimed at developing communicative competence in students. Furthermore, the criteria and methods for assessing communicative competence are discussed. The article provides practical recommendations for teachers in the modern education system regarding the development of students' communicative competence and contributes to ongoing scientific and pedagogical research in this field.
