FORMATION OF TOLERANCE IN FUTURE BIOLOGY TEACHERS

Abstract

The formation of tolerance in future biology teachers is an indispensable aspect of modern education, given the increasingly diverse and interconnected global society. This article explores the critical need for integrating tolerance and inclusivity within the educational training of biology educators. It emphasizes the role of biology teachers as facilitators of understanding, empathy, and respect for diversity. The discussion delves into the definition of tolerance and its significance within the teaching profession, addressing the challenges faced and proposing effective strategies for fostering tolerance. By highlighting case studies and best practices, the article offers insights into successful initiatives, aiming to inspire educators, policymakers, and stakeholders to prioritize tolerance as an essential component of biology education, enabling the cultivation of empathetic and inclusive future biology teachers.
