Abstract

In the current academic milieu, English proficiency is increasingly pivotal for students spanning diverse subjects, with a particular emphasis on adept academic writing skills. Students often grapple with challenges, notably in regions like Uzbekistan, where language-related errors, particularly overgeneralization, are prevalent in academic papers. Existing research underscores the utility of grammar to rectify these issues, yet there exists a discernible gap necessitating clearer guidance on language application in academic writing. This article delves into the foundational significance of simplicity and formality, advocating for a spectrum of writing techniques. Ranging from basic punctuation, such as the nuanced use of commas, to intricate clause structures, the exploration elucidates how these strategies collectively contribute to effective academic writing. By navigating the intricacies of language application, this article aims to provide valuable insights into crafting refined and substantiated academic discourse.
