This article analyzes the scientific and theoretical foundations for developing social responsibility in prospective teachers through virtual technologies. In the context of modern digital education, the didactic and pedagogical potential of virtual technologies in the teacher training process is continuously expanding. The study, based on a systematic approach, elucidates the pedagogical content of social responsibility, its structural components, and the mechanisms for its development through virtual technologies. Furthermore, the theoretical potential of competency-based, student-centered, activity-based, and constructivist approaches is analyzed. The role of the virtual educational environment in fostering prospective teachers' professional accountability, reflective thinking, collaborative culture, and digital competencies is substantiated. Recent research indicates that learning environments based on virtual technologies and artificial intelligence are effective tools for enhancing the professional competencies and reflective practices of prospective teachers.
