This article is devoted to the issues of improving the quality of education in general secondary schools and developing students’ linguistic competencies. The study examines the importance of the interactive approach and explores scientific and practical processes related to enhancing students’ linguistic knowledge in the subjects of the native language and the uzbek language through the use of modern pedagogical methods. Moreover, establishing thematic connections, and developing students’ logical thinking skills.
