Methodology for The Development of Cognitive Thinking Skills of Primary School Students

Cognitive thinking skills critical thinking problem-based learning

This article examines the effectiveness of developing cognitive thinking skills among primary school students through structured and interactive teaching methodologies. The study emphasizes cognitive thinking as a key educational competence that supports students’ intellectual, academic, and personal development in early schooling. Using a quasi-experimental approach, the research explores how problem-based learning, collaborative activities, logical exercises, and visual learning strategies can effectively enhance cognitive processes in primary education. The findings highlight that learner-centered instructional methods significantly improve students’ attention, memory, reasoning, and creative thinking skills.
