This article enlightens specific features of the participation of the prosecutors in court hearings of criminal cases, their procedural status, tasks and powers in accordance with the Criminal Procedural Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the Prosecutor’s Office. In the article, on the basis of its subjects, proposals are given on the improvement of the legal basis of the participation of the prosecutor in examining criminal cases by the courts.
