FEATURES OF BORROWINGS IN ENGLISH

Abstract

This article analyzes the words that have been adopted into English from other languages, the reasons for their adoption and their lexical-semantic meanings as a result of their use. At the same time, a number of adaptations from Latin, French and English, their phonetic, morphological and grammatical characteristics are also presented with examples.
