Abstract

Using the concept of the author’s point of view in literature lessons as a tool for analyzing a literary text serves to develop a holistic understanding of the author’s role in the work, the uniqueness and complexity of the author’s worldview in students. This article discusses the factors influencing the understanding of the author’s point of view, and approaches to guiding students to understand the text by engaging them in the author’s personality.
