Abstract

The article examines the system of correctional and pedagogical work to eliminate speech underdevelopment in children with speech disorders. Speech disorders, to varying degrees, negatively affect the child's overall mental development and are reflected in their activities and behavior. Severe speech disorders can affect mental development, especially the formation of higher levels of cognitive activity.
