The article examines the influence of Soviet ideology on the formation of preschool education in the Jizzakh region, the stages of its development, and the factors that formed the basis for the development of this system in subsequent periods. At the same time, pedagogical approaches characteristic of the Soviet period, educational programs, methodological manuals, the system of training educators, and the expansion of the network of preschool institutions were analyzed based on archival sources.
