Abstract

This article provides a theoretical and methodological analysis of the role of Uzbek traditional clothing in shaping the cultural identity of youth within the context of modern pedagogical practices. Traditional costume is examined as a complex cultural-historical phenomenon that synthesizes artistic experience, ethnic symbols, national codes, and deeply rooted aesthetic values. The educational potential of folk costume and its impact on the formation of moral qualities, aesthetic perception, worldview, and ethnocultural self-identification of young people are explored. Special attention is given to pedagogical conditions that ensure the effective integration of folk art into the educational process. The findings confirm the significant role of traditional Uzbek clothing in strengthening intergenerational continuity, forming aesthetic consciousness, and fostering stable cultural identity.
