This article examines the educational and aesthetic significance of reading in shaping students' spiritual development. It analyzes the role of book reading in developing students' worldview, thinking, spiritual-moral qualities, and aesthetic taste. It also reveals how fiction can help form qualities such as kindness, humanism, patriotism, an appreciation of beauty, and respect for values in students. The article substantiates the development of a reading culture as an important factor in enhancing students' intellectual and spiritual potential.
