The article provides information about digital educational technologies and their importance in teaching subjects based on the STEAM educational system. In addition, the concept of the STEAM educational system is defined and its role in training future specialists is described. Virtual educational technology is presented as a digital technology, its structure and application procedure are given, and the purpose is to analyze the impact of using virtual reality on the basis of the effective use of virtual laboratories in teaching chemistry, as well as to provide an integrated web-learning environment for simulating chemical experiments.
