This article examines the pedagogical foundations of developing social-emotional competencies in preschool children through an integrative approach. In contemporary preschool education, ensuring children's social and emotional development alongside cognitive growth has become one of the key educational priorities. The study explores the essence, structure, and significance of social-emotional competence as an essential component of a child’s holistic development. Particular attention is given to the theoretical foundations of the integrative approach, its implementation in preschool educational settings, and its pedagogical effectiveness. The article identifies educational conditions that facilitate the development of emotional awareness, self-control, empathy, communication skills, cooperation, and constructive social problem-solving abilities among preschool children. Furthermore, the role of educators and learning environments in fostering children's social-emotional growth is highlighted. The findings indicate that an integrative approach contributes significantly to the formation of social-emotional competencies, strengthens self-regulation mechanisms, and enhances children's readiness for successful school adaptation and lifelong learning.
