This article highlights the methodological features of developing medical students’ analytical thinking competence through a mentorship-based approach in teaching hygiene. The study analyzes the role of mentorship in fostering independent thinking, problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and professional decision-making among medical students. Particular attention is paid to the application of modern pedagogical technologies, problem-based learning, interactive teaching methods, and mentor-student collaboration in the development of analytical competencies. The findings demonstrate that the implementation of a mentorship-based approach in hygiene education contributes to enhancing students’ professional competence, improving critical and analytical thinking skills, and increasing their readiness for future medical practice.
