The rapid development of digital technologies has transformed social media into one of the most influential factors affecting adolescents’ personal and moral development. Adolescent girls, in particular, spend a considerable amount of time in virtual environments where they encounter diverse information, values, behavioral patterns, and social norms. This article examines the influence of social media on the formation of moral values among adolescent girls from a pedagogical perspective. The study is based on a theoretical analysis of contemporary scientific literature related to social media, moral education, adolescent psychology, and digital culture. The article highlights both the positive and negative effects of social media on adolescents’ moral development. Positive influences include access to educational content, exposure to constructive role models, opportunities for self-expression, and the expansion of intercultural awareness. Negative influences include exposure to harmful content, unrealistic social comparisons, cyberbullying, digital addiction, and the erosion of traditional moral values. Particular attention is given to the role of family, school, and society in guiding adolescent girls toward responsible and ethical use of social media. The study proposes pedagogical approaches aimed at strengthening digital literacy, critical thinking, moral responsibility, and value-oriented education. The findings suggest that conscious and guided engagement with social media can contribute positively to the moral development of adolescent girls, while uncontrolled use may create significant challenges for their personal growth and ethical formation.
