Assessment of Students’ Independent Learning Based on The Finnish Experience

This article analyzes the Finnish experience in assessing students’ independent learning. The study highlights the importance of formative assessment, self-evaluation, project-based learning, and learner-centered education in developing students’ autonomy and critical thinking skills. Moreover, the role of constructive feedback, teacher support, and educational equality is examined. The article concludes that the Finnish assessment model effectively promotes independent learning and lifelong educational development.
