In the modern globalized world, the tourism industry requires professionals who possess not only linguistic competence but also intercultural communicative competence. English language teaching plays a significant role in preparing tourism students for effective interaction with international tourists from diverse cultural backgrounds. This study examines the importance of developing intercultural communicative competence among tourism students through English language teaching. The paper emphasizes that improving language skills contributes directly to the quality of tourism services, professional communication, and international cooperation in the tourism sector.
