This article examines the theoretical foundations and practical pedagogical approaches to the development of environmental consciousness in preschool children. Special attention is given to fostering positive attitudes toward nature, forming basic ecological knowledge, and developing environmental culture. The study highlights the effectiveness of play-based activities, observation, experimental methods, and an integrative educational approach in shaping ecological awareness. It also emphasizes the important role of cooperation between educators and parents in strengthening ecological values in children. The results indicate the necessity of a systematic and consistent approach to environmental education in preschool institutions.
