The article examines modern trends and factors in the development of the digital economy in the country as a whole, as well as in its separate sector - industry, it is concluded that the digital transformation of the industrial sector requires government support, development of digital infrastructure, strengthening incentives for the implementation of digital solutions, motivation of personnel, and the directions of digitalization for the near future in the industrial sector of the economy of Uzbekistan are outlined.
