Sustainable Development Strategies in Tourism: Ecological, Economic and Social Approaches
Abstract
Tourism has become one of the most influential forces shaping cultural exchange, economic development, and social interaction in the modern world. Yet, its rapid expansion often threatens fragile ecosystems, local traditions, and social balance. This study explores sustainable development strategies in tourism through ecological, economic, and social approaches, emphasizing the need for harmony between growth and preservation. By examining global practices and Uzbekistan’s unique context, the research seeks to propose practical models that empower communities, safeguard cultural heritage, and promote responsible hospitality. Ultimately, it argues that sustainable tourism is not only an economic necessity but a moral responsibility.
