Climate change water resources water scarcity

Today, climate change is considered one of the most pressing global challenges facing humanity. The increasing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere has led to a rise in the Earth's average temperature, significantly affecting the formation, distribution, and utilization of water resources. This issue is becoming particularly severe for countries located in arid and semi-arid regions, where water scarcity is intensifying. This article examines the impact of climate change on water resources, scientific and practical mechanisms for efficient water use under conditions of water scarcity, water-saving technologies, digital management systems, and priority directions for ensuring water security in Uzbekistan. Based on the research findings, recommendations and proposals aimed at improving water resource management efficiency have been developed.
