Socio-Pragmatic Features Of The Preventive Speech Act In Linguo-Cultural Processes
Abstract
This paper examines the socio-pragmatic features of the preventive speech act within the framework of linguo-cultural studies and the semantics of language units. The preventive speech act is analyzed as a communicative strategy aimed at avoiding potential misunderstandings or undesirable situations, maintaining social harmony, and reinforcing cultural norms in interpersonal interaction. The study highlights the cultural and pragmatic mechanisms underlying preventive expressions, their dependence on social status, age, gender, and communicative context, as well as their reflection of national mentality and ethical values.
