In this article, the speech genre of the glass word in English linguistic culture and the presidential iftar speech in Uzbek linguistic culture as official dinner speech genres have become the object of linguistic research. In this article, the similarities and differences of these speech genres are interpreted as linguocultural features. Also, the use of active speech acts and religious identifiers in the textual structure of these speech genres is noted as national cultural identifiers.
