This article presents the study of the works of poets, enriching them with the characteristics of the use of artistic means in contemporary Karakalpak lyric poetry, which reveals the current artistic level of similes, their types, and the object of comparison, and the methods by which they are most often used.

Inversion, the deliberate alteration of standard word order, plays a crucial role in translation discourse by emphasizing meaning, enhancing stylistic nuances, and preserving the original text's communicative intent. This study explores the use of inversion as a translation tool, focusing on its ability to maintain the emotional, rhetorical, and semantic weight of the source text. Drawing on examples from literary, journalistic, and academic translations, the research identifies key factors influencing the application of inversion, including linguistic structures, cultural context, and target audience expectations. By examining comparative translations across languages, this study highlights how inversion aids in aligning the translated text with the stylistic and pragmatic goals of the original work, ensuring fidelity and expressiveness. The findings underscore the importance of syntactic flexibility in achieving effective translations and propose practical strategies for translators to employ inversion purposefully. This research contributes to the broader understanding of syntactic choices in translation and their impact on cross-linguistic communication.

This study explores the role of thematic role structures in bridging FrameNet, a computational resource for lexical semantics, with natural language processing (NLP) and linguistics. Thematic roles, which capture the relationship between a verb and its arguments, serve as crucial elements in understanding sentence structure and meaning. By examining how FrameNet categorizes these roles, the research highlights their significance in representing the semantic relationships within natural language. The study delves into how thematic role structures can improve the integration of FrameNet with NLP tools, enhancing tasks such as machine translation, information retrieval, and syntactic parsing. Through a comprehensive analysis, the paper discusses the challenges and benefits of linking these structures to natural language semantics, aiming to improve linguistic models and automated systems. The study concludes by suggesting ways to refine thematic role frameworks to further enhance the interaction between theoretical linguistics and computational applications.

This article examines lexical and grammatical units - introductory and modal words and provides their classification. The study presents a linguistic picture that reflects the degree of study of the use of introductory words and constructions. Based on the works of leading grammarians such as Vinogradov, Shakhmatov, Peshkovsky, Paducheva, and others, the definition of introductory and modal words is formulated and their main categories are presented. The functions of introductory words in a fiction text are also studied.

This article discusses the problem of studying the fishing and agricultural vocabulary of the northern dialect of the Karakalpak language, as well as in the Turkic languages, in this case, the Karakalpak language. Words related to fishing and farming in the Karakalpak language are presented, with examples of their use in other Turkic languages and differences in their use in the conversations of the northern dialect of the Karakalpak language. The areal of distribution of dialect professional words associated with cattle breeding are also given on the basis of linguistic maps showing the distribution of the population of the northern regions of Karakalpakstan, where the northern dialect regions of the Karakalpak language were calculated.The difference in the use of words related to agriculture in the northern dialect of the Karakalpak language, firstly, creates the possibility of creating dialectological dictionaries based on the division of professional words related to the Karakalpak language into thematic groups, and secondly, the fact that words related to agricultural professions are used in our language today, they are not exaggerated in our literary language, but instead of dialect words, as a result of its use, it is noted that it ensures the activity of the word in society.

The maps clearly show the limits of the distribution of professional dialectisms associated with fishing, the broad or narrow meaning of the field of application, the dialect names and dialect meanings related to this profession. If you pay attention to the lingua-areal distribution of some words used in the conversations of the Karakalpak language, to the differences in them - the appearance of different terms on the boundary lines depending on the location of the isoglosses, the different use of professional words in each conversation, and their manifestations on linguistic maps are shown in the appendices.

By analyzing the novel’s innovative use of stream-of-consciousness technique and its symbolic representation of time and memory, this study illuminates Faulkner's profound commentary on the human condition and its inextricable link to societal constructs. This analysis underscores the relevance of Faulkner's work in addressing universal questions about individuality, morality, and the dynamics of human relationships within a shifting cultural landscape.
