Ancient Hunting Weapons

Abstract

This article analyzes the emergence of ancient hunting weapons, their types, and their role in human history. Hunting activities were not only a means of subsistence for early societies but also held significant importance in social, cultural, and spiritual life. The study, based on scholarly sources, examines the evolution of hunting weapons—from hand-thrown spears and slings to more complex mechanical devices, including the bow—and highlights their military and economic significance.
