This article, based on historical sources, highlights the life of Qusam ibn Abbas ibn Abdulmuttalib — one of the noble companions of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), his cousin, and the person most resembling him in appearance. It explores his journey to Central Asia, particularly Samarkand, his role in propagating Islam, and his martyrdom in this region. Furthermore, the paper analyzes the spiritual and educational significance of the world-famous Shah-i Zinda (Qusam ibn Abbas) complex in the Islamic world, its historical roots, and the stages of the spread of Islam in Mawarannahr, adhering to scientific and academic standardsby Imam al-Bukhari and presents important insights into their practical implementation in the field of hadith studies.
