Islamic Factor in The Armed Forces and Its Influence on State Policy

This article examines the evolution of attitudes toward Islam within the armed forces-army system and the factors that influenced this attitude, including the strengthening of the idea of "Jihad for the Motherland" in the wars with India over Kashmir and the significance of factors such as the Islamization of the state during the reign of Zia ul-Haq.
