Publication Ethics

Responsibilities of Authors
Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must submit original work that has not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal. Any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is considered unethical and unacceptable.
Authors must properly cite and acknowledge the work, ideas, data, and findings of others.
Multiple or Concurrent Submission
Manuscripts submitted to AJSSHR must not be under consideration by another journal or publisher at the same time. Simultaneous submissions constitute unethical publishing behavior.
Data Accuracy
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the data presented in their manuscripts are accurate, authentic, and reliable. Fabrication, falsification, or manipulation of research data is strictly prohibited.
Authorship
Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research and manuscript preparation. All co-authors must approve the final version of the manuscript before submission.
Disclosure of Conflicts of Interest
Authors must disclose any financial, institutional, personal, or professional relationships that may influence the interpretation of their research findings.
Corrections and Retractions
If authors discover a significant error in their published work, they must promptly notify the Editorial Office and cooperate in issuing corrections, clarifications, or retractions when necessary.
Responsibilities of Reviewers
Confidentiality
Reviewers must treat all submitted manuscripts as confidential documents and must not share, discuss, or distribute manuscript content without authorization from the Editorial Office.
Objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively, fairly, and constructively. Personal criticism of authors is inappropriate.
Conflict of Interest
Reviewers should decline review assignments if they have any conflict of interest arising from competitive, collaborative, institutional, or personal relationships with the authors.
Timeliness
Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within the agreed review period and promptly notify the Editorial Office if additional time is required.
Responsibilities of Editors
Editorial Independence
Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on academic merit, originality, relevance, methodological quality, and contribution to the field without discrimination based on nationality, gender, ethnicity, religion, political beliefs, or institutional affiliation.
Confidentiality
Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts and related communications.
Fair Decision-Making
Editorial decisions are based on the recommendations of reviewers, the quality of the manuscript, and its suitability for the journal's scope.
Conflict of Interest
Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest.
Peer Review Policy
AJSSHR operates a double-blind peer-review process, whereby the identities of both authors and reviewers remain confidential throughout the review process.

Research Misconduct
The journal takes all allegations of research misconduct seriously. Misconduct may include:

- AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
- The use of AI-assisted tools should be disclosed where appropriate.
- Authors are accountable for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of their work.
Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern
AJSSHR is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. When necessary, the journal may publish:

These actions will be taken in accordance with established publishing ethics principles.
Ethical Compliance
By submitting a manuscript to AJSSHR, authors confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with the journal's publication ethics policies.
The journal reserves the right to reject, withdraw, or retract manuscripts that violate these ethical standards.
