Uzbek-Uyghur Literary Relations in the 20th Century
Abstract
The article analyzes the literary and spiritual ties that formed between Uzbek and Uyghur literature during the 20th century. The ideas of national revival that emerged under the influence of the Jadid movement, literary cooperation in the Soviet period, translation work, and dialogue processes between creators are covered. The influence of Uzbek writers on Uyghur literature and Uyghur writers on Uzbek literature is also revealed based on historical examples.
