This article discusses the issues of effectively teaching the subject of academic writing in the higher education system. In particular, it analyzes the importance of modern pedagogical approaches and interactive methods in developing students' scientific and creative thinking, forming logical and systematic reasoning skills, and enhancing written speech culture. The article also examines ways to use innovative technologies in the teaching process, apply acquired skills in practice, and improve students' independent thinking abilities.
