Ornamentation woodcarving heritage

This study aims to improve the methodology of teaching wood carving through modern educational technologies based on the study of historical monument ornamentation within Uzbekistan's continuing education system. An explanatory sequential mixed-methods approach was employed to develop and evaluate the proposed instructional model. The findings show that integrating historical ornamentation with digital educational technologies enhances learners' creative thinking, artistic competence, digital skills, and cultural awareness. The proposed methodology contributes to the modernization of wood-carving education while supporting the preservation and sustainable transmission of Uzbekistan's cultural heritage.
