The article analyzes and extensively utilizes research conducted by foreign scholars on the topic of Uzbekistan's global environmental policy within the UN framework and its participation in planetary issues, as well as the opinions expressed in their scientific articles. It highlights the Aral Sea tragedy, acknowledging it as a problem not only for Uzbekistan but on a global scale; the speeches delivered at the UN by the first head of our state, I. Karimov; and the fact that this problem remains a pressing issue today, having become an object of environmental diplomacy.
