Abstract

The article provides a classification, compilation and solution methods of descriptive mathematical problems in secondary schools, and also shows the role of an illustrative issue in the development of logical thinking and spatial imagination of students. With the help of illustrative issues, the stages of solving geometric problems have been improved, and the possibilities of effective use of illustrative issues in the process of mathematical education have been clarified.
