Male concept phraseology gender linguistics

This study examines the representation of the male concept in the phraseological systems of Uzbek, English, and Russian languages. It analyzes the axiological, cognitive, and cultural dimensions of masculinity as encoded in language. The research reveals that male identity is constructed through social roles, responsibility, and normative expectations, while also reflecting ambivalent evaluations shaped by patriarchal cultural experience.
