The article analyzes the editorial and journalistic activities of the founder of the Tashkent Jadid school, editor, publisher, publicist and public figure Munavvar qori Abdurashidkhanov in the first national publications "Tarakkiy" and "Khurshid". It presents the progressive views of the great enlightener that the fate of the nation is decided by education and the upbringing of children, based on the study of original sources and articles.
