The Diachronic Evolution of Personal Names in English and Uzbek Languages
Abstract
This study explores the historical development of personal names in English and Uzbek, focusing on how naming conventions have evolved through different historical periods. The research highlights the impact of major historical events, religious transitions, and cultural exchanges on name formation and usage. By analyzing personal names from ancient times to the modern era, this study provides insight into the dynamic relationship between language, identity, and history in both linguistic traditions.
