Generative Artificial Intelligence Critical Thinking Psychological Resilience

This article explores the role of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in enhancing critical thinking skills and psychological resilience among university students. In the context of rapidly evolving digital education, AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT have become integral to academic learning processes. The study analyzes how GenAI supports cognitive development by promoting analytical reasoning, problem-solving abilities, and independent learning. In addition, it examines the psychological impact of AI-assisted education, particularly in reducing academic stress and fostering emotional adaptability. The findings suggest that, when used appropriately, Generative AI can serve as an effective educational support system that contributes to both intellectual growth and psychological well-being. However, the study also highlights potential risks, including overreliance on technology and reduced independent thinking, emphasizing the need for balanced and ethical use in higher education.
