The article presents the clinical experience of diode laser application in the complex treatment of exfoliative cheilitis in patients with coronavirus infection. It was found that a more pronounced anti-inflammatory effect was noted in the patients of the main group, where the diode laser was included in the treatment scheme, which is expressed in the elimination of the inflammatory reaction of the mucous membrane in a shorter time than in the patients of the control group.

The study showed that the use of diode laser helps stimulate the regeneration of the mucous membrane in the lesion and can significantly improve the effectiveness of complex therapy, which is reflected in reduced pain, accelerated epithelialization, increased duration of remission and reducing the number of relapses.

This article discusses the practical importance of adsorbents today, areas of application, and methods of obtaining activated carbon adsorbents based on local raw materials. Preparation of adsorbents activated by the method of thermochemical activation based on cotton stalks and cotton bolls, functional groups in the obtained adsorbents were analyzed by IR spectroscopy.

We explored novel pathways, employing innovative synthetic routes and green chemistry principles to enhance yield and reduce waste. Key parameters including reaction conditions, catalyst selection, and purification techniques were systematically evaluated to establish an efficient and reproducible process. The results demonstrated significant improvements in overall yield and purity of the final product. Additionally, the developed process was assessed for scalability, feasibility, and economic viability. This research contributes valuable insights into the synthesis of Cefetamet Sodium, paving the way for more sustainable production practices in the pharmaceutical industry.

Intra-abdominal pressure (IAP) is a critical physiological parameter that influences multiple organ systems, particularly in patients who have sustained trauma or undergone surgery. This study investigates the impact of sudden increases in intra-abdominal pressure on hemodynamics and myocardial function in military patients, particularly those experiencing abdominal trauma or undergoing abdominal surgery in combat settings. Elevated IAP, often resulting from trauma, fluid accumulation, or surgical procedures, can significantly affect cardiovascular stability, leading to alterations in cardiac output, blood pressure, and myocardial contractility. Through a retrospective review of military patients treated for abdominal injuries or surgeries, this study assesses the physiological changes in hemodynamics and myocardial function associated with acute IAP elevations. Key variables such as heart rate, blood pressure, central venous pressure, and echocardiographic measures of myocardial performance were monitored. The findings reveal that sudden increases in IAP result in significant hemodynamic instability, including reduced cardiac output and increased central venous pressure, as well as impaired myocardial contractile function. These changes are more pronounced in patients with severe abdominal trauma or those undergoing complex surgeries. The study underscores the importance of early detection and management of elevated IAP in military healthcare settings, where rapid intervention can prevent complications such as multi-organ dysfunction, ischemia, and even death. The results highlight the need for targeted strategies to monitor and mitigate the effects of IAP elevations on cardiovascular and myocardial function in military patients.

Hyptis suaveolens L. (Lamiaceae), commonly known as "shrubby mint," is a medicinal plant traditionally used for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. This study aims to explore the phytochemical composition and pharmacological effects of Hyptis suaveolens in animal models. Phytochemical analysis was conducted to identify bioactive compounds present in the plant, using techniques such as gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and thin-layer chromatography (TLC). The pharmacological evaluation involved in vivo testing for anti-inflammatory, analgesic, antipyretic, and antimicrobial activities. The results revealed the presence of essential oils, flavonoids, alkaloids, and terpenoids, which contributed to the observed pharmacological effects. In animal models, Hyptis suaveolens exhibited significant anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, corroborating its traditional use in folk medicine. These findings provide valuable insights into the therapeutic potential of Hyptis suaveolens, supporting further clinical studies to confirm its efficacy and safety for medicinal use.
