Trigeminal nerve injury in women during menopause is a pressing issue in modern neurology, pathological anatomy, and gerontology. Menopause is accompanied by significant hormonal changes, changes in vascular tone, impaired microcirculation, and a decrease in the neuroprotective effect of estrogens, which increases the sensitivity of peripheral nerves to various damaging factors.
