Conscription age students health risk factors

The health status of young people of conscription age is an important indicator of national human resources and defense potential. Modern students are exposed to numerous biological, social, behavioral, and environmental risk factors that negatively affect physical and mental health. Lifestyle changes associated with digital technologies, decreased physical activity, unhealthy nutrition, sleep deprivation, psychological stress, and harmful habits have significantly increased the prevalence of chronic diseases among young adults. The purpose of this article is to analyze modern risk factors affecting the health of students of conscription age and assess their impact on physical fitness, mental well-being, and readiness for military service. The analysis demonstrates that behavioral and lifestyle-related factors represent the most significant threats to health among this population. Preventive measures aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles, increasing physical activity, and improving health education are essential for preserving the health potential of future military personnel.
